Terms of Service

Last updated: March 28, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Rekit (the “App”), a Shopify application. By installing or using the App, you (“Merchant”) agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

The App helps merchants manage subscription-related workflows in connection with Shopify, including features such as selling plans, subscription data visible in admin, and related tooling we may add or change over time. Shopify’s platform, APIs, checkout, and policies also apply to your store.

2. Eligibility & account

You must have authority to bind the Shopify store on which the App is installed. You are responsible for activity under your store’s use of the App, for keeping credentials secure, and for compliance with laws (including consumer, marketing, and tax rules) that apply to subscriptions you offer.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Enforcement. We may suspend or remove access for serious or repeated violations.

4. Billing

If the App offers paid plans, fees and trials are presented at purchase through Shopify’s billing mechanisms or as otherwise disclosed in the App. Taxes may apply. Cancellation and refund rules follow Shopify and the terms shown at signup unless law requires otherwise.

5. Your content & data

You retain rights to your store data. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit data as needed to provide the App. We handle personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The App, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for its intended purpose while your subscription or installation is valid.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free subscription tracking; third-party systems (including Shopify) may affect behavior.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from use of the App. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the event giving rise to liability (or, if none, fifty USD).

9. Termination

You may stop using the App by uninstalling it from Shopify. We may terminate or suspend access for breach, risk, or discontinuation of the service where permitted. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive.

10. Changes

We may modify these Terms. We will post an updated “Last updated” date and, where changes are material, provide reasonable notice (for example, in-app or by email). Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance.

11. Contact
